USCIS FINAL RULE – 85 FR 46788, 8/3/20 – FEE SCHEDULE
The USCIS FINAL RULE (Fee Schedule) was published on August 3, 2020, and will become effective on October 2, 2020.
In addition to important changes to some USCIS forms, the fee to obtain the necessary naturalization documents required for a DUAL citizenship petition will increase for both online and paper searches.
Beginning on October 2, 2020, applicants will face an increase between 146% and 308% depending on whether one elects an online or paper search.
As you can see from the graphic below, form G-1041A—Genealogy Records Request (paper filing)—will increase from $65 to $265; a substantial increase of 308%.
